Therefore, I believe that the great shortage of organs and the importance of this cause are worth a month of effort to inform the public. I want to thank my colleague, the member for Ontario, for this extraordinary idea he had to ask that one day, April 21, be devoted to that cause and I am sure he will agree with me that this day should be the culminating point of a whole month dedicated to raising awareness of organ donations.
Je crois donc que l'ampleur de la pénurie d'organes et l'importance de cette cause méritent qu'on consacre un mois pour informer l'ensemble de la population, et je tiens à remercier mon collègue du comté d'Ontario d'avoir eu cette idée extraordinaire de demander une journée, le 21 avril, et je suis convaincue qu'il est tout à fait d'accord avec moi pour que cette journée soit le point culminant d'un mois tout entier consacré à la sensibilisation.
