As with the Liberals flinty and grudging apology to former prime minister Mulroney for the Airbus libel, their slander of the hundreds of honest Canadians associated with the Pearson development deal, and their refusal to allow the Somalia inquiry to reach its ultimate conclusion, people were reminded yet again of this government's basic lack of humanity and its " it's my way or the highway" approach to dealing with the average Canadian.
Comme l'excuse mesquine que les libéraux ont présentée à l'ancien premier ministre Mulroney concernant le libelle diffamatoire et l'affaire Airbus, leur affirmation calomnieuse selon laquelle des centaines de Canadiens honnêtes étaient associés à l'entente de développement de l'aéroport Pearson et leur refus de laisser l'enquête sur la Somalie suivre son cours jusqu'à la fin, cet incident a de nouveau rappelé aux Canadiens le manque de compassion et de générosité du gouvernement à leur égard.
