Another cause for rejoicing is that the rapporteur, who was rather unwell before the summer, is back with us again, so that we can, so to speak, join with him tomorrow in getting this regulation on the road, and that he has, together with the Council, managed to come up with some good solutions, for which we are very grateful, and we have got this done and dusted at first reading stage, with no need of a conciliation procedure.
Nous pouvons aussi nous réjouir, d’une part, que le rapporteur, qui était relativement affaibli à la veille de l’été, soit de retour à nos côtés, si bien que nous pouvons pour ainsi dire nous allier à lui demain pour mettre ce règlement sur les rails, et d’autre part, qu’il ait réussi, en conjonction avec le Conseil, à élaborer quelques bonnes solutions dont nous lui sommes profondément reconnaissants, et que nous ayons mené à bien tout ce travail en première lecture, sans qu’une procédure de conciliation ne soit nécessaire.
