The very same members who are passionately in favour of extending the European Union to Turkey, which occupied part of the Republic of Cyprus 25 years ago and continues to occupy it 25 years later.
Et c’est encore l’hypocrisie qui règne aujourd’hui, puisque nous voyons divers collègues jouer les faucons et demander l’imposition de toutes sortes d’embargo à l’Irak, lequel, il y a dix ans, a tenté de conquérir une partie du Koweït et a été contraint de faire machine arrière sous l’effet de l’intervention militaire de l’Occident, alors que dans le même temps ces collègues sont les partisans fanatiques de l’adhésion de la Turquie à l’Union européenne, une Turquie qui, voici 25 ans, a envahi une partie de la République chypriote et l’occupe encore.depuis 25 ans !
