2. In order to implement Community-wide electronic identification, the Commission shall submit to the Council and the European Parliament, no later than 31 July 2006, a report on the experience gained with regard to the implementation of electronic identification.

En attendant que soient établies les mesures d'exécution requises pour l'introduction adéquate du système d'identification électronique à l'échelle communautaire, un système d'identification et d'enregistrement efficace, permettant de tenir compte des progrès à venir dans le domaine de la mise en oeuvre de l'identification électronique à l'échelle communautaire, devrait permettre l'identification individuelle des animaux et de l'exploitation de naissance des animaux.

(9) To take into account future developments in the field of electronic identification of ovine and caprine animals, and in particular the experience gained in the implementation thereof, the Commission should submit to the Council a report concerning the possible application of the electronic identification system on a Community-wide scale, together with the necessary proposals.
(9) Afin de tenir compte des progrès à venir dans le domaine de l'identification électronique des animaux des espèces ovine et caprine et, en particulier, de l'expérience acquise en la matière, il est opportun que la Commission soumette au Conseil un rapport concernant la mise en oeuvre éventuelle du système d'identification électronique à l'échelle communautaire, assorti des propositions nécessaires.
