Council Decision 96/620/EC of 1 October 1996 on the conclusion of an Agreement in the form of an Exchange of Letters between the European Community and the Kingdom of Morocco fixing, from 1 January 1994, the additional amount to be deducted from the levy or the customs duties on imports into the Community of untreated olive oil originating in Morocco (5) implemented an Agreement which has been subsequently superseded and Council Decision 2002/958/EC of 28 November 2002 concerning the conclusion of an Agreement in the form of an Exchange of Letters between the European Community and the Kingdom of Morocco derogating temporarily, as regards the importation into the Community of tomatoes originating in Morocco, from Agricultural Protocol No 1 to the Euro-Mediterranean Agreement establishing an association between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and the Kingdom of Morocco, of the other part (6), had a temporary character; they have therefore exhausted their effects.

2. Member States shall collect the data referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article and, before the 15th of each calendar month, shall submit by electronic transmission to the Commission, or to a body designated by the Commission, data for each stock, group of stocks or fishing category, on the quantities caught, and, where required under an agreement or regulation implementing that agreement, on the fishing effort deployed during the previous month by vessels flying their flag in the waters falling under the scope of an agreement and in the previous six months for fishing activities outside Community waters not falling under the scope of an agreement.
2. (27) Whereas Community undertakings should benefit fully from international trade agreements such as agreements signed within the World Trade Organisation (WTO), including those relating to tariffs, such as in the Information Technology Agreement, and from the Istanbul Convention on the elimination of customs duties on personal effects and professional equipment and have effective market access under the specific terms and conditions, including national treatment, binding on the member countries of the WTO; whereas the Commission may take all necessary actions to implement international agreements; whereas these may need to be supplemented by specific bilateral or multilateral agreements and negotiations which the Commission may start on the basis of mandates from the Council;
