On 3 June 1992, the Indicative Programme for European Community Assistance to the Republic of Poland for 1992 (PHARE 1992), involving 200 million ECU (1 ECU = appr. 17.000 Zlotys) in grants, was signed in Warsaw. For the Polish side the Indicative Programme was signed by Minister Jacek Saryusz-Wolski, Undersecretary of State for European Integration and Foreign Assistance in the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Poland; for the Commission of the European Communities the document was signed by Ambassador Alexander H. Dijckmeester, Head of the Delegation of the Commission of the European Communities in Poland.
