Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament and the Council of 17 March 1999 on the decommissioning of obsolete nuclear installations and waste management: Historical liabilities resulting from nuclear activities carried out at the JRC under the Euratom Treaty [COM(1999) 114 final]. The action programme set out in this communication concerns installations which have already shut down and the management of nuclear waste, and covers an initial period of four years (1999-2002).
