Mrs Bjerregaard states that the goal of the Community is that all countries achieves just as high level of biosafety as the one existing in the Community Today, the Commission has adopted a proposal for negotiating directives for the participation of the European Community in the forthcoming negotiations on the need and modalities of a protocol on biosafety, which will take place during the second Conference of the Parties under the Convention on Biological Diversity to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia on November 5-17 1995.
Mme Bjerregaard déclare que l'objectif de la Communauté est que tous les pays parviennent à un niveau de biosécurité aussi élevé que celui qui prévaut dans la Communauté La Commission a adopté ce jour une proposition de directives de négociation en vue de la participation de la Communauté européenne aux prochaines négociations portant sur la nécessité et les modalités d'établissement d'un protocole sur la biosécurité, qui se dérouleront lors de la seconde conférence des parties à la convention sur la diversité biologique qui se tiendra à Jakarta, en Indonésie, du 5 au 17 novembre 1995.
