The conservation project proposes a complete York stone repaving of the surfaces around the theatre and of those leading to the neighbouring buildings, which are themselves very well-known. The objective is to reintegrate the whole site with related geometric layouts to reflect the nature and plan forms of the existing historic buildings (Clarendon Building, the Old Ashmolean Museum, Bodleian Library).
