There has been criticism that the opposition parties have delayed the passing of the bill, but, as we all know, it was the government's own action of having introduced the bill and then, last December 30, taking the tremendous liberty of proroguing the House and causing all the legislation that had previously introduced to simply fall off the order paper.
Certains ont reproché aux partis de l’opposition d’avoir retardé l’adoption du projet de loi, mais nous savons tous que c’est le gouvernement qui est responsable de ce retard. En effet, après avoir présenté le projet de loi, peu de temps après, le 30 décembre, il prenait la liberté de proroger le Parlement, un geste qui a eu pour effet de faire mourir au Feuilleton tous les projets de loi qui avaient déjà été présentés.
