WHEREAS it has pleased Your Majesty to approve the suggestion that the occasion of Your visit to Canada and Your personal interest in the well-being of children should be marked by the establishment in Your Name of a Fund to be devoted to the furthering of research into the diseases of children and the prevention and cure of such diseases, to which all who wish in this way to make a gift to Your Majesty may contribute:
CONSIDÉRANT qu’il y a plu à Votre Majesté d’approuver la proposition selon laquelle Votre visite au Canada et l’intérêt personnel que Vous portez au bien-être de l’enfance devraient être marqués par l’établissement, en Votre nom, d’un Fonds consacré à la poursuite de recherches sur les maladies de l’enfance, ainsi qu’à la lutte préventive contre ces maladies et à leur guérison, fonds auquel pourront contribuer tous ceux qui veulent, de cette façon, faire un don à Votre Majesté;
