I would therefore advocate the introduction on all ships of automatic mechanisms for controlling the levels of tanks and bilges at short, regular intervals in order to ascertain whether or not they have been emptied into the waste facilities provided in ports under the MARPOL legislation.
En conséquence, je plaide pour l’introduction sur tous les navires de mécanismes automatiques permettant de contrôler les niveaux des réservoirs et des fonds de cales à intervalles brefs et réguliers afin de déterminer s’ils ont ou non été déchargés dans les infrastructures d’élimination prévues dans les ports conformément à la législation MARPOL.
