Several operations have already been planned for 1995: the opening in Sofia this autumn of an Energy Centre for the countries bordering the Black Sea, a region very rich in oil resources; technical assistance for the rehabilitation of the electricity network in Sarajevo; development in partnership with the countries of the Southern and South-East Mediterranean of a regional action plan on Euro-Mediterranean energy cooperation; organization of contacts between representatives of European industry and authorities and undertakings from Vietnam with a view to promoting cooperation between Europe and Vietnam, a highly promising emerging market, in the area of oil and gas.
