Mr. Thomas: I would have liked to have seen a law in Canada where military serving personnel, who know the reality, appear under oath to answer questions from parliamentarians and where they do not appear in right of the minister where they may not say anything that does not agree with the announced position of the government, lest they be court-martialled.
