Other obligations - such as the exclusive use of the licensor's trade mark, compliance with quality standards, grant-back, the obligation to pay royalties even for a certain period after the know-how has entered the public domain, and the obligation not to use the know-how further after the contract has come to an end - would also be exempt or could be considered to fall outside the scope of the competition rules.
