The histories of our two countries, Romania and the Czech Republic, have two strong features in common: 1968 and then the Prague Spring, which represented for us Romanians, subjected to the most cruel Communist dictatorship, a ray of light which guided us along the path to freedom.
L’histoire de nos deux pays, la Roumanie et la République tchèque, présentent deux points communs importants: 1968 et le Printemps de Prague. Pour les Roumains soumis à une dictature communiste monstrueuse, ces événements représentaient une lumière d’espoir qui nous a guidés sur le chemin de la liberté.
