Given that Slovenia has requested assistance in respect of 2 554 redundancies at Mura, European Fashion Design, a company that operates in the wearing apparel sector in the NUTS III region of Pomurje, and that 7% of all people employed in the region of Pomurje were working for Mura and incomes in this region were already below the Slovenian average, I am voting overall in favour of this report on the mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for Slovenia.
Étant donné que la Slovénie a demandé une aide à la suite du licenciement de 2 554 salariés de Mura European Fashion Design, une société active dans le secteur vestimentaire, dans la région de niveau NUTS III du Pomurje; que 7 % de la population active du Pomurje étaient employés par Mura et que les revenus dans cette région se situaient déjà en dessous de la moyenne slovène, je vote globalement en faveur de ce rapport sur la mobilisation Fonds européen d’ajustement à la mondialisation pour la Slovénie.

The redundancies occured in the region de Pomurje, where Mura is based. At the beginning of 2008 Mura employed 3 135 workers, representing more than 7 % of people employed in the region of Pomurje.
