B. whereas the Egyptian Government launched a media campaign to encourage citizens to vote ‘yes’ on the constitution while at the same time taking actions against expressions rejecting the constitution; whereas the Muslim Brotherhood rejected the draft constitution and called for the referendum to be boycotted, as did the party of former Muslim Brotherhood leader and presidential candidate Abdel Moneim Abul Fotouh and the April 6 youth movement;
B. considérant que le gouvernement égyptien a organisé une campagne médiatique visant à inciter les citoyens à voter "oui" à la constitution tout en prenant parallèlement des mesures contre les personnes appelant à la rejeter; que les Frères musulmans ont repoussé le projet de constitution et appelé à boycotter le référendum, comme l'ont fait tant le parti de l'ancien dirigeant des Frères musulmans et candidat à l'élection présidentielle, Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh, que le mouvement de la jeunesse du 6 avril;
