In this quite surrealistic debate, I should like, moreover, to draw attention to a most outstanding contribution by my fellow countryman and fellow MEP, Mr Andreasen from the Group of the European Liberal, Democrat and Reform Party, who is closely associated with the Danish Prime Minister. Normally, he speaks in Danish, which is a good idea. As a symbolic act, he gave his speech in English, however, and that of course brilliantly reflects his close relationship with the Danish Prime Minister, who belongs to the same political party as himself and is a close colleague of his.
Je voudrais relever, à l’occasion de ce débat tout à fait surréaliste, l’éminente intervention de mon concitoyen et collègue, M. Ole Andreasen, du groupe du parti des libéraux démocrates et réformateurs, qui est très proche du premier ministre danois et qui s’exprime généralement en danois - ce qui est une très bonne chose - mais qui, d’une façon symbolique, s’est exprimé en anglais, ce qui reflète parfaitement ses étroites relations avec le premier ministre danois, son ami politique et proche collègue.
