Compte tenu des régimes comme celui du Nigéria où règnent l'oppression et la corruption, des violations flagrantes des droits de la personne dans des pays comme la Birmanie, l'Indonésie et l'Iraq, des conflits nourris non pas par l'idéologie, mais par un commerce pervers dans des endroits comme le Libéria, l'Afghanistan et la Somalie, nous devons célébrer la DUDH et demander à ces pays de la respecter et de s'y conformer (2110) Devant les atrocités commises au Rwanda et dans l'ancienne Yougoslavie, nous nous rendons compte que notre travail de pacification n'est pas terminé.
