When you become aware of the native way of doing things, of the way they see the world, you realize that from the very beginning, from the day the first Europeans came to the Yukon, aboriginal people accepted willingly to share their territory with them, but without relinquishing in any way their native rights, their rights as first occupants.
Si on regarde leur façon de concevoir, de voir la dynamique, on constate que probablement, depuis l'arrivée des Européens au Yukon, les autochtones ont fait preuve d'un esprit de partage très grand et ont accepté de partager le territoire avec les Européens, sans pour autant renoncer à leurs droits ancestraux, leurs droits de premiers occupants.
