IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

In this context, the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission invite Member States in particular to undertake appropriate actions of coordination and communication among national authorities and between authorities of different Member States in order to ensure clear, efficient and transparent procedures of authorisation of new EGTCs within the time limits fixed.
Dans ce contexte, le Parlement européen, le Conseil et la Commission invitent les États membres à notamment mener les actions de coordination et de communication qui conviennent au sein des autorités nationales et entre les autorités des différents États membres, ce afin de garantir la mise en place, dans les délais fixés, de procédures d'autorisation de nouveaux GECT qui soient claires, efficaces et transparentes.

This change brings legal certainty for applicants, who have frequently been facing serious disruptions and unjustified delays in the procedure (There is, however, derogation to this rule made for the Member State where the proposed registered office of the EGTC will be located where a formal approval would still be required). A Joint Declaration of the Parliament, the Council and the Commission, which will be added after end of discussions, is calling on the Member States to ensure a clear, efficient and transparent authorization of new EGTCs within the time limit.
