Unfortunately, until we see some real movement of the federal government on the part of both the finance minister and the health minister on the health care funding issue, I would suggest that Brian Tobin, Premier of Newfoundland and former Liberal cabinet minister in this House, is correct when he says that the government has missed the boat by not reinvesting significantly in health care.
Malheureusement, à mon avis, tant que le ministre des Finances et le ministre de la Santé n'interviendront pas concrètement en ce qui concerne le financement des soins de santé par le fédéral, c'est Brian Tobin, premier ministre de Terre-Neuve et ancien ministre libéral à la Chambre, qui a raison lorsqu'il dit que le gouvernement a raté le coche en ne réinvestissant pas massivement dans les soins de santé.
