WHEREAS by chapter seventy-four of the statutes of Canada, 1923, and by chapter three hundred and seventy-nine of the laws of the state of New York, 1922, two companies were incorporated under the name of Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Company, with authority to construct, maintain and operate
