(5a) By way of derogation from the provision of paragraphs 3 and 4, Member States may, in accordance with international accounting standards as adopted by Commission Regulation (EC) No 1725/2003 of 29 September 2003 adopting certain international accounting standards*, as amended until the entry into force of this Directive, permit or require valuation of financial instruments, together with the associated disclosure requirements which are provided for in international accounting standards adopted in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1606/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 July 2002 on the application of international accounting standards**.
5 bis) Par dérogation aux dispositions des paragraphes 3 et 4, les États membres peuvent, conformément aux normes comptables internationales adoptées en vertu du règlement (CE) n°1725/2003 de la Commission, du 29 septembre 2003, portant adoption de certaines normes comptables internationales*, tel qu'amendé jusqu'à l'entrée en vigueur de la présente directive, autoriser ou exiger l'évaluation d'instruments financiers, de même que le respect des obligations de publicité y afférentes prévues par les normes comptables internationales adoptées conformément au règlement (CE) n° 1606/2002 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 19 juillet 2002 sur l'application des normes comptables internationales**.

(5) Definitions applicable to related party disclosures as set out in the International Accounting Standards adopted by the Commission under Regulation (EC) No 1725/2003 of 29 September 2003 adopting certain international accounting standards in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1606/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council, should be integrated into Directives 78/660/EEC and 83/349/EEC.
