Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 2826/2000 of 19 December 2000 on information and promotion actions for agricultural products on the internal market (1), and in particular Articles 4, 5(1), 6 and 12 thereof,

In the light of experience and in order to monitor the proper implementation of the programmes, detailed rules should be laid down for the monitoring by the group set up to this end under Regulation (EC) No 2826/2000.
À la lumière de l'expérience acquise, et afin de surveiller la bonne exécution des programmes, il convient de préciser les modalités du suivi assuré par le groupe établi à cette fin par le règlement (CE) no 2826/2000.

This Regulation lays down detailed rules for applying Regulation (EC) No 2826/2000, in particular as regards the drawing up, selection, implementation, financing and checking of the programmes referred to in Article 6(1) of that Regulation and the rules applicable to the programmes part-financed by the Member States and the Community referred to in Article 7(1) of that Regulation.
Le présent règlement établit les modalités d'application du règlement (CE) no 2826/2000, notamment en ce qui concerne l'élaboration, la sélection, la mise en œuvre, le financement et le contrôle des programmes visés à l'article 6, paragraphe 1, dudit règlement ainsi que les règles applicables aux programmes cofinancés par les États membres et la Communauté, visés à l'article 7, paragraphe 1, dudit règlement.

In the light of experience gained in recent years, Commission Regulation (EC) No 94/2002 laying down detailed rules for applying Council Regulation (EC) No 2826/2000 on information and promotion actions for agricultural products on the internal market (2) should be amended.
Compte tenu de l'expérience acquise au cours de ces dernières années, il s'avère nécessaire d'apporter des modifications au règlement (CE) no 94/2002 de la Commission du 18 janvier 2002 portant modalités d'application du règlement (CE) no 2826/2000 du Conseil relatif à des actions d'information et de promotion en faveur des produits agricoles sur le marché intérieur (2).

To avoid a risk of duplication of financing, information and promotion measures receiving support under Council Regulation (EC) No 1257/1999 of 17 May 1999 on support for rural development from the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund (EAGGF) and amending and repealing certain Regulations (4) should be excluded from support under Regulation (EC) No 2826/2000.
Afin d'éviter un risque de double financement, il convient d'exclure du soutien au titre du règlement (CE) no 2826/2000 les actions d'information et de promotion recevant un soutien au titre du règlement (CE) no 1257/1999 du Conseil du 17 mai 1999 concernant le soutien au développement rural par le Fonds européen d'orientation et de garantie agricole (FEOGA) et modifiant et abrogeant certains règlements (4).
