Commission Regulation (EC) No 798/2008 lays down a list of third countries, territories, zones or compartments from which poultry and poultry products may be imported into and transit through the Union and the veterinary certification requirements.
Le règlement (CE) no 798/2008 de la Commission établit une liste des pays tiers, territoires, zones ou compartiments en provenance desquels les volailles et les produits de volailles peuvent être importés dans l’Union et transiter par celle-ci, ainsi que les règles en matière de certification vétérinaire.

As the arrangements for the transit via the Union to third countries from Bosnia and Herzegovina, of the consignments covered by Regulations (EC) No 798/2008, (EU) No 206/2010, (EU) No 605/2010 and (EU) No 28/2012 can be effective only through access via Croatian border inspection posts of Nova Sela and Ploče, it is necessary to include those border inspection posts in the list set out in Annex I to Decision 2009/821/EC as soon as the technical conditions for their approval are complied with.
Étant donné que le transit par l’Union des lots visés par les règlements (CE) no 798/2008, (UE) no 206/2010, (UE) no 605/2010 et (UE) no 28/2012 à destination de pays tiers en provenance de Bosnie-Herzégovine implique automatiquement un passage par les postes d’inspection frontaliers croates de Nova Sela et Ploče, il convient d’inclure ces postes sur la liste figurant à l’annexe I de la décision 2009/821/CE, dès que les conditions techniques pour leur approbation seront remplies.

In Regulation (EC) No 798/2008, the following Article 18a is inserted:

Commission Regulation (EC) No 798/2008 of 8 August 2008 laying down a list of third countries, territories, zones or compartments from which poultry and poultry products may be imported into and transit through the Community and the veterinary certification requirements (2) provides that the commodities covered by it are only to be imported into and transited through the Union from the third countries, territories, zones or compartments listed in columns 1 and 3 of the table in Part 1 of Annex I thereto.
Le règlement (CE) no 798/2008 de la Commission du 8 août 2008 établissant une liste des pays tiers, territoires, zones ou compartiments en provenance desquels les volailles et les produits de volailles peuvent être importés dans la Communauté et transiter par celle-ci ainsi que les règles en matière de certification vétérinaire (2) dispose que les produits auxquels il s’applique ne peuvent être importés dans l’Union et transiter par celle-ci que s’ils proviennent des pays tiers, territoires, zones ou compartiments mentionnés dans les colonnes 1 et 3 du tableau figurant à son annexe I, partie 1.

A new provision, derogating from the requirements of Article 4(4) of Regulation (EC) No 798/2008, with regard to the transit of eggs and egg products from Belarus should therefore be inserted in Article 18 of that Regulation and the entry for Belarus in Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 798/2008 should be amended accordingly.
Il convient donc d’insérer dans l’article 18 du règlement (CE) no 798/2008 une nouvelle disposition dérogeant aux règles de l’article 4, paragraphe 4, de ce règlement, en ce qui concerne le transit d’œufs et d’ovoproduits en provenance de Biélorussie, et de modifier en conséquence l’entrée correspondante de ce pays dans l’annexe I du règlement précité.

Commission Regulation (EC) No 798/2008 of 8 August 2008 laying down a list of third countries, territories, zones or compartments from which poultry and poultry products may be imported into and transit through the Community and the veterinary certification requirements (5) provides that certain commodities are only to be imported into and transit through the Union from the third countries, territories, zones or compartments listed in the table in Part 1 of Annex I thereto.
