Articles 4 and 9 of the Agreement will continue to treat wines originating in the United States in the same way as in Regulations (EC) No 883/2001, (EC) No 1037/2001 and (EC) No 2303/2003.
En vertu des articles 4 et 9 dudit accord, les vins originaires des États-Unis continueront à bénéficier du même traitement que celui prévu par les règlements (CE) no 883/2001, (CE) no 1037/2001 et (CE) no 2303/2003.

Regulations (EC) No 883/2001, (EC) No 1037/2001 and (EC) No 2303/2003 should be amended accordingly.

In order to avoid any disruption of trade, provisions to implement the Agreement in the form of an exchange of letters should be adopted and in particular the three derogations provided for in Regulations (EC) No 883/2001, (EC) No 1037/2001 and (EC) No 2303/2003 should remain in force until the date of application of Articles 4 and 9 of the Agreement on trade in wine but no later than three years from the date of entry into force of the Agreement in the form of an exchange of letters.
Afin de prévenir toute perturbation des échanges, il convient d’adopter des modalités d’application de l’accord sous forme d’échange de lettres et de prévoir que les trois dérogations visées respectivement aux règlements (CE) no 883/2001, (CE) no 1037/2001 et (CE) no 2303/2003 restent en vigueur jusqu’à la date d’application des articles 4 et 9 de l’accord sur le commerce du vin pour une durée maximale de trois ans à compter de l’entrée en vigueur de l’accord sous forme d’échange de lettres.

In accordance with Article 24(2), Article 26 and Article 27(2) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 883/2001 of 24 April 2001 laying down detailed rules for implementing Council Regulation (EC) No 1493/1999 as regards trade with third countries in products in the wine sector (3), the simplified procedure as regards the requirements for drawing up and using the certificate and analysis report for imports of wines applies to wines imported from the United States of America until 31 December 2005.
Conformément à l’article 24, paragraphe 2, à l’article 26 et à l’article 27, paragraphe 2, du règlement (CE) no 883/2001 de la Commission du 24 avril 2001 fixant les modalités d'application du règlement (CE) no 1493/1999 du Conseil en ce qui concerne les échanges des produits du secteur vitivinicole avec les pays tiers (3), la procédure simplifiée relative aux modalités d’établissement et d’utilisation de l’attestation et du bulletin d’analyse pour les importations de vins s’applique aux vins importés des États Unis d’Amérique jusqu’au 31 décembre 2005.

(5) Article 33 of Regulation (EC) No 883/2001 of 24 April 2001 laying down detailed rules for implementing Council Regulation (EC) No 1493/1999 as regards trade with third countries in products in the wine sector(11) provides for the possibility of analytical derogations for certain imported wines, in particular those with an actual alcoholic strength of less than 9 % vol and a total alcoholic strength by volume exceeding 15 % vol without enrichment as referred to in Article 68(2)(a) of Regulation (EC) No 1493/1999.
(5) L'article 33 du règlement (CE) n° 883/2001 du 24 avril 2001 fixant les modalités d'application du règlement (CE) n° 1493/1999 du Conseil en ce qui concerne les échanges des produits du secteur vitivinicole avec les pays tiers(11) prévoit la possibilité des dérogations analytiques pour certains vins importés et notamment sur le titre alcoométrique acquis qui est inférieur à 9 % vol et sur le titre alcoométrique volumique total qui dépasse 15 % vol sans aucun enrichissement visés à l'article 68, paragraphe 2, point a), du règlement (CE) n° 1493/1999.
