2. The accounting officer shall carry out, or have carried out by a staff member in his own department or in the authorising department specially empowered for that purpose, checks, which must as a general rule be effected on the spot and without warning, to verify the existence of the funds allocated to the imprest administrators and the bookkeeping and to check that imprest transactions are settled within the time limit set.
2. Le comptable procède ou fait procéder par un agent de ses services ou des services ordonnateurs, spécialement mandaté à cet effet, à des contrôles, qui doivent en règle générale se dérouler sur place et d’une manière inopinée, visant à la vérification de l’existence des fonds confiés aux régisseurs d’avances, à la vérification de la tenue de la comptabilité et à la vérification de la régularisation des opérations de la régie dans le respect des délais imposés.
