As a consequence, it is my submission that the text of the notice of proposed procurement and the terms of reference of the task force established by the Minister of Agriculture would leave the reader to conclude that the Canadian Wheat Board will be repealed, even though no such legislation in any form has been tabled in this House, and that in less than a year the Canadian Wheat Board will be in the process of dissolution and winding up, two facts which will negatively impact upon the board, those farmers operating under it and those doing business with that board.
Par conséquent, je suis d’avis que le texte de l’avis de projet de marché et le mandat du groupe de travail établi par le ministre de l'Agriculture permettent de croire que la Loi sur la Commission canadienne du blé sera abrogée, même si aucune mesure législative en ce sens n’a été déposée à la Chambre, et que, dans moins d’un an, la commission sera en cours de dissolution et de liquidation, ce qui aura des répercussions négatives sur la commission, les agriculteurs qui comptent sur elle et ceux qui font affaire avec elle.
