Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán aptly pointed out that if we do not wish to ‘export’ the problems of the Roma – who live in extreme poverty and social and ethnic exclusion – through ‘nomadisation,’ that is, emigration to the developed EU countries, then we must find a solution to their current, untenable situation through joint action and with combined efforts.
Le Premier ministre hongrois, Viktor Orbán, a souligné à juste titre que si nous ne voulons pas «exporter» les problèmes des Roms – qui vivent dans une pauvreté extrême et sont victimes d’exclusion sociale et ethnique – par la «nomadisation», c’est-à-dire l’émigration des Roms vers les pays développés de l’UE, nous devons trouver une solution à leur situation actuelle intenable au moyen d’une action commune et en unissant nos efforts.
