Calls on the Commission and the other supervisory authorities to ensure provision of customer due diligence measures and related risk profiles by banks, insurance companies, and credit institutions in order to ensure that corporate or legal entities in the Member States obtain and hold adequate, accurate and current information on their ultimate beneficial owners, including from offshore tax havens, and that business registers are regularly updated and monitored for quality; considers that transparency of information - also by means of publication of a country-by-country registry of real ownership and through crossborder cooperation - can contribute to combating phenomena such as money laundering, the financing of terrorism, tax fraud and tax avoidance;

Calls for support to be given to political efforts to further the role of women in agriculture by making it easier for them, in practical and in legal terms and including with regard to farm ownership, to be active as agricultural entrepreneurs so that – on the basis of their co-responsibility for farm businesses – they can be more closely involved in the associated rights and duties, including inter alia in the representation of interests on agricultural bodies and by having a real share in all forms of farm income;
31. demande que soient soutenus les efforts politiques visant à promouvoir le rôle des femmes en agriculture de manière à leur faciliter en fait et en droit l'exercice d'une activité d'entrepreneur agricole, y compris du point de vue de la propriété, pour leur permettre, sur la base de leur coresponsabilité, de participer plus étroitement aux droits et aux obligations de l'entrepreneur, parmi lesquels la représentation des intérêts au sein des organismes agricoles et la participation effective à l'ensemble des recettes de l'exploitation;

Secondly, consideration needs to be given to including gains from the ownership of real property in capital gains exemptions.
