13 (1) Petro-Canada Limited is hereby authorized to transfer, and on the direction of the Governor in Council shall transfer, all the shares of Petro-Canada International Assistance Corporation held by Petro-Canada Limited to such member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada as the Governor in Council may designate as the Minister for the purposes of this section.

(5) Where the Minister intends to give notice pursuant to section 30 calling for the submission of proposals in respect of any Crown reserve lands for which Petro-Canada Limited has the rights granted by subsection (1), he shall send notice in writing of his intention to Petro-Canada Limited specifying the lands in respect of which he intends to call for the submission of proposals and Petro-Canada Limited shall have 60 days from the day such notice is sent to make its selection of not more than 25 per cent of such lands, in the manner approved by the Minister or a person designated by the Minister.

5. The dissolution or amalgamation of wholly-owned subsidiaries of Petro-Canada Limited where the net worth (total assets less total liabilities) of each subsidiary dissolved or each subsidiary, other than Petro-Canada Inc., amalgamated does not exceed 0.5 per cent of Petro-Canada Limited’s consolidated gross assets as of the end of its 1989 financial year.
5. La dissolution ou la fusion de filiales à cent pour cent de Petro-Canada Limitée, à la condition que la valeur nette (actifs totaux moins passifs totaux) de chaque filiale dissoute ou de chaque filiale — sauf Petro-Canada Inc. — fusionnée n’excède pas 0,5 pour cent des actifs bruts consolidés de Petro-Canada Limitée à la fin de l’exercice 1989.

(a) enter into an agreement or other arrangement with Petro-Canada Limited, Petro-Canada or any other person respecting the service or discharge of any debt or obligation incurred by Petro-Canada Limited; and
