During the strategic phase of the initiative, the involvement of additional, sectorally oriented, funding agencies should be sought to further enhance the integration of research addressing cross-sectoral end user needs and to ensure the effective use and uptake of results for policy and resource management arrangements across a wide array of economic sectors.
Au cours de la phase stratégique de l'initiative, il faut rechercher la participation d'organismes de financement supplémentaires, à orientation sectorielle, pour accroître encore l'intégration des activités de recherche répondant aux besoins intersectoriels de l'utilisateur final et pour assurer l'adoption et l'exploitation efficaces des résultats en vue de dispositions politiques et de gestion des ressources dans un large éventail de secteurs économiques.
