The guarantee that the European Union will extend visa exemption to the two countries, especially to Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the very near future, at the beginning of autumn 2010, will reduce the risk of greater political and ethnic instability, strengthen political and economic cooperation in the region, and increase popular support for the EU and the prospects for European integration, as well as broaden the horizons of its people and restrain extremist and anti-European sentiment.
L’assurance que l’Union européenne permettra les déplacements sans visa pour les deux pays, en particulier la Bosnie-et-Herzégovine, dans un avenir très proche – d’ici le début de l’automne 2010 – est de nature à affaiblir le risque d’une intensification de l’instabilité ethnique et politique, à renforcer la coopération politique et économique dans la région, ainsi que le soutien populaire pour l’UE et la perspective d’intégration européenne, à élargir les horizons des citoyens et à juguler les forces antieuropéennes et extrémistes.
