The ΕU has confined itself to proposing neo-liberal policies and free trade agreements with these countries, instead of helping them build up their own economies, and making serious efforts to integrate them in the so-called war against terrorism, turning a deaf ear to the voices of the people at the Port Alegre forum and the parliamentary forum in Sao Paulo.
L’UE se borne à proposer à ces pays des politiques néolibérales et des accords de libre-échange au lieu de les aider à construire leurs économies, et déploie des efforts intenses pour les associer à la soi-disant lutte contre le terrorisme, en ignorant les voix qui s’élèvent du forum de Porto Alegre et du forum parlementaire de Sao Paulo.
