Requests that the institutions transmit, by 15 February 2006, a joint report on enlargement recruitment including statistics as of 15 January 2006 on the number and grade of posts occupied by permanent staff by nationality, of posts occupied by temporary staff and of vacant posts; invites the institutions to include in the report an action plan with measures for further recruitment and addressing the problem of availability of candidates in certain categories from certain Member States;
28. demande aux institutions de présenter avant le 15 février 2006 un rapport commun sur le recrutement lié à l'élargissement, comprenant notamment des statistiques à compter du 15 janvier 2006 sur le nombre et le niveau des postes pourvus à titre permanent par nationalité, des postes pourvus à titre temporaire et des postes vacants; invite les institutions à compléter ce rapport d'un plan d'action prévoyant des mesures de recrutement supplémentaires et permettant de résoudre le problème de l'offre de candidats dans certaines catégories, dans certains États membres;

Notes that Parliament's standard abatement has been relatively high in recent years; reiterates that the standard abatement needs to reflect the required level of vacant posts in the institution; instructs its Secretary-General to submit a report by 28 February 2001 on Parliament's level of vacant posts for the period 1995-2000, including the number of vacant posts in January, July and December of each year and the reasons why some posts remain vacant for more than six months;
