The nuclear fuel cycle refers to the entire progress of nuclear fuel from the time the uranium is mined from the ground, through the refining process and fabrication of the ore pellets for fuel bundles, through the time it spends in a reactor producing its energy and until its eventual disposal.
Le cycle du combustible nucléaire correspond à tout le processus du combustible nucléaire, à partir du moment où l'uranium est extrait du sol, en passant par le processus de raffinage et la fabrication des pastilles à la base des grappes de combustible, jusqu'à la période d'utilisation dans les réacteurs en vue de produire de l'énergie et enfin jusqu'à l'évacuation finale.
