Before the project was notified to the Commission (i.e. before 7 September 2012), the public shareholders in Gdynia-Kosakowo Airport Ltd agreed to contribute a total of about PLN 207,48 million (17) (about EUR 51,87 million) for the purposes of carrying out the investment project and covering the airport's losses in the early years of its operation.
