At the same time, the framework also recognises that some major investment projects may indeed contribute to regional development and provides that, as from 2004, a cohesion premium may be granted for major projects exceeding EUR100 million part-financed by the Structural Funds.
Ceci étant, cet encadrement reconnaît également que certains grands projets d'investissement peuvent effectivement contribuer au développement régional et prévoit, à partir de 2004, une prime de cohésion qui sera accordée pour de grands projets dépassant EUR 100 millions cofinancés par les Fonds structurels.
