5. se dit profondément déçu par le verdict du tribunal russe de l'arrondissement de Khamovniki, qui a condamné le 17 août 2012 Nadejda Tolokonnikova, Maria Aliokhina et Ekaterina Samoutsevitch, membres du groupe punk Pussy Riot pour "actes de hooliganisme motivés par la haine religieuse"; estime que la condamnation repose sur des motivations peu convaincantes et qu'elle est disproportionnée compte tenu du fait qu'il s'agissait d'une protestation non violente et condamne les mauvais traitements dont les membres du groupe auraient été victimes pendant la détention préventive et les irrégularités qui auraient entaché le procès; s'attend à ce que cette condamnation soit révisée et révoquée, conformément aux engagements internationaux de la Russie;

Expresses its serious concern at the verdict following the recent trial and conviction of Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Ekaterina Samutsevitch, members of the punk band “Pussy Riot”; deplores reports of the band members’ mistreatment during their pre-trial detention and reported irregularities of the trial; considers the sentence disproportionate for the peaceful, if controversial, expression of their views; calls on the Russian authorities to review this sentence in line with Russia’s international commitments, as regards respect for freedom of expression;
8. fait part de la profonde inquiétude que lui inspirent le verdict et la condamnation prononcés à l'issue du récent procès de Nadejda Tolokonnikova, Maria Aliokhina et Ekaterina Samoutsevitch, membres du groupe punk Pussy Riot; déplore les informations faisant état de mauvais traitements infligés aux membres du groupe pendant leur détention provisoire et d'irrégularités lors du procès; estime cette condamnation disproportionnée, alors que ces personnes n'ont fait qu'exprimer leur position de manière peut-être discutable, mais pacifique; invite les autorités russes à réviser cette condamnation conformément aux obligations internationales de la Russie en matière de respect de la liberté d'expression;

Expresses its deep disappointment with the verdict and the disproportionate sentence issued by the Khamovnichesky District Court in Russia in the case of Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Ekaterina Samutsevitch, members of the punk band ’Pussy Riot’; notes with concern that this case adds to the recent upsurge in the politically motivated intimidation and prosecution of opposition activists in the Russian Federation, a trend that is of growing concern to the European Union; reaffirms its belief that this sentence will be reviewed and reversed in line with Russia's international commitments;
6. exprime sa profonde déception face au verdict et à la condamnation disproportionnée rendus par le tribunal de district de Khamovnichesky dans l'affaire de Nadejda Tolokonnikova, Maria Aliokhina et Ekaterina Samoutsevitch, membres du groupe punk Pussy Riot; constate avec inquiétude que cette affaire vient s'ajouter à la récente montée brutale dans la Fédération de Russie des intimidations et des persécutions à motifs politiques, une tendance qui nourrit de plus en plus de craintes dans l'Union européenne; réaffirme son espoir que cette condamnation sera réexaminée et modifiée selon les engagements internationaux de la Russie;
