All that part of the Province of Quebec situated north of the 50th degree of latitude, between the Quebec-Ontario border eastwards to the 68th degree of longitude, thence along a line extending due north to the 51st degree of latitude, thence eastwards along the 51st degree of latitude to the junction with the 60th degree of longitude, thence along the coast to the Quebec-Newfoundland border, following an imaginary line situated about 10 miles from the coast.
Toute la partie de la province de Québec, située au nord du 50 degré de latitude, à partir de la limite qui sépare le Québec et l’Ontario en allant vers l’est jusqu’au 68 degré de longitude, de là, en direction franc nord jusqu’au 51 degré de latitude, de là, vers l’est, en suivant ledit degré, jusqu’au 60 degré de longitude, de là, en suivant la côte jusqu’à la limite du Québec et de Terre-Neuve, c’est-à-dire en suivant une ligne imaginaire à 10 milles de distance de la côte.
