President Prodi shared the concern at the recurrent anti-Semitic attacks and reiterated the Commission’s and his own personal commitment to combating these intolerable acts. He expressed his confidence in the work of the European Commission, the European Jewish Congress and the Congress of European Rabbis that began with the seminar on anti-Semitism held in February and recalled that a formal meeting of the joint working party would be held on 13 July.
M. Prodi, après avoir déclaré qu’il ressentait la même l’inquiétude face à cette récurrence des actes antisémites, a réaffirmé la volonté de la Commission et la sienne propre de lutter contre ce phénomène intolérable, exprimé sa confiance envers le travail fourni en commun par la Commission européenne, le CJE et la Conférence des rabbins européens depuis le séminaire sur l'antisémitisme de février dernier et rappelé qu’une réunion formelle du groupe de travail mixte constitué par ces trois institutions aurait lieu le 13 juillet prochain.
