The Commission has also proposed to amend the European Refugee Fund, precisely to provide rapid financial support to those Member States that face particular pressure because of sudden arrivals of migrants at their borders, some of whom are in need of international protection.
La Commission a également proposé de modifier le Fonds européen pour les réfugiés en vue précisément de fournir une aide financière rapide aux États membres qui sont soumis à des pressions particulières suite aux arrivées soudaines de migrants à leurs frontières, certains d’entre eux ayant besoin d’une protection internationale.

As regards amendments, the Commission has taken note of all the proposed amendments and can accept, conditional upon some formal reworking, in some cases, the principles behind a number of them which aim to make the objectives of the European Refugee Fund clearer in the introduction, or to make some terms more precise.
