Further to the audit undertaken in 2001 by DG Regional Policy of the financial management and control systems of the ISPA implementing agencies, the main findings together with recommendations on improvements needed to meet the requirements of Article 9 of the ISPA Regulation were sent to the Polish authorities early in 2002.
