That, I am afraid, is discrimination which is unacceptable, and this on a day of history when we remember all those who have fallen in warfare and in a week when we have remembered the horrors of Kristallnacht and the tragic events which followed, and where we have celebrated the achievement of all those who contributed to the fall of Communism, in Poland, where it began, in Hungary, in the Baltic States, in countries throughout Eastern and Central Europe and, of course, ultimately in Berlin.
Ceci, j’ai le regret de le dire, est une discrimination inacceptable, et d’autant plus en un jour historique où nous nous souvenons de tous ceux qui sont tombés à la guerre et au cours d’une semaine où nous avons évoqué les horreurs de la Nuit de cristal et les événements tragiques qui lui ont succédé, et où nous avons célébré les réalisations de tous ceux qui ont contribué à la chute du communisme, en Pologne, où cela a commencé, en Hongrie, dans les États baltes, dans tous les pays de l’Europe centrale et orientale et, bien entendu, finalement, à Berlin.
