The City of Grande Prairie, Alberta, although they didn't use the infrastructure program, to their credit five years ago realized that this was really important, and they had Telus come in and, with municipal support, they ensured they had fibre-optics from Edmonton to Grande Prairie and a ring of fibre-optics built around the city.
La municipalité de Grande Prairie, en Alberta, ne s'est pas servie du programme d'infrastructure mais, c'est à porter à son crédit, elle a compris il y a cinq ans que cette question était vraiment importante et elle a demandé à Telus, avec l'aide de la municipalité, de venir installer un raccordement par fibres optiques entre Edmonton et Grande Prairie et un réseau de fibres optiques tout autour de la ville.
