The funds were made available to 13 NGOs/Red Cross agencies - with which the Commission normally works when granting emergency aid - for implementing programmes lasting between one and three months aimed at the most vulnerable sections of the population: children, the elderly, sick and handicapped persons, etc. In the case of the USSR, the total aid of ECU 3 million is to be used to send 819 tonnes of emergency supplies consisting of 250 tonnes of medical supplies and instruments, 549 tonnes of food and 20 tonnes of other essential items.
Les crédits ont été alloués à 13 ONG/Croix Rouges partenaires habituels de la Commission en matière d'aide d'urgence, pour la réalisation de progammes d'une durée d'un à trois mois en faveur des populations les plus vulnérables : enfants, personnes âgées, handicapés, malades, etc.En ce qui concerne l'URSS, le total alloué de 3.000.000 écus est destiné à l'envoi de 819 tonnes de secours dont 250 tonnes de médicaments et de petit matériel médical, 549 tonnes de vivres et 20 tonnes d'autres biens essentiels.
