1. This Regulation establishes common rules to protect civil aviation against acts of unlawful interference that jeopardise the security of civil aviation.

3. The national supervisory authorities and the European Data Protection Supervisor shall, each acting within the scope of their respective competences, exchange relevant information, assist each other in carrying out audits and inspections, examine difficulties of interpretation or application of this Regulation, study problems with the exercise of independent supervision or in the exercise of the rights of data subjects, draw up harmonised proposals for joint solutions to any problems and promote awareness of data protection rights, as necessary.

Les autorités nationales de contrôle et le Contrôleur européen de la protection des données, agissant chacun dans les limites de leurs compétences respectives, échangent les informations utiles, s'assistent mutuellement dans la conduite d'audits et d'inspections, examinent les difficultés d'interprétation ou d'application du présent règlement, étudient les problèmes pouvant se poser lors de l'exercice du contrôle indépendant ou dans l'exercice des droits des personnes concernées, formulent des propositions harmonisées de solutions communes aux éventuels problèmes et assurent une sensibilisation aux droits en matière de protection des données, si nécessaire.
